What to do as the practice

  • Tell your electrician which rooms are patient areas and how each will be used.
  • Make sure your contact details are right on the job, so the eCert CCEW reaches you.
  • Keep the CCEW and the AS/NZS 3003 test results with your compliance files.
  • Book the retest within 12 months, and before any alterations.

Testing, everywhere

AS/NZS 3003 requires routine inspection and testing of body-protected areas at intervals not exceeding 12 months. The date of the last test goes on the label at the door.
